Very clever photo work, I-man, it wasn't until I took a 2nd look that I saw your knives in the picture, on just a glance they appeared like other Zeppelins floating around like the only one that's actually on the poster. The 2 birds contributed to the confusion as well.
Now, the big question! Did you and your buddies attend that concert, or do you have the poster for nostalgic reasons? It's a pretty cool Zep poster, one that I'd have hung in my mancave back then had I seen it before now!

Big ole blade on that one. The horn handle really sets it off.

This has been a favorite of mine since the day I got it.
Parker 9" oal with a 4" Tanto blade, NS hardware, and dyed bone covers.
Nice n' heavy, just how I like it.

Thanks Waukonda. The poster was a re-print for $20 at one of the few remaining record stores around here.
Sadly we missed the show. My buddies and I were in elementary school. Lived in Oregon back then, and nobody I knew was taking kids out of state to Led Zeppelin shows.Madmarco wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 6:13 pmVery clever photo work, I-man, it wasn't until I took a 2nd look that I saw your knives in the picture, on just a glance they appeared like other Zeppelins floating around like the only one that's actually on the poster. Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Many thanks, David, I just wish some of you guys who appreciate a nice knife could handle that one, it took my breath away the first time I did. Being the decisive accumulator that you are, you would really like that knife, I'm certain.
As usual you've been posting more of your beautiful accumulation of fine knives, if I don't comment it's only because I'm overwhelmed with replies and missed your, but know this, even I know you have great taste in cutlery.

The only reason I haven't posted in this thread previously, is because of my situation. My poor health has limited my activities greatly and not for the better, so I rarely get outside anymore and as a result I have little reason for EDC knives. But when I thought about it, it dawned on me that this thread is the same as "Comfort Knives" only outdoors, and viewing all your gorgeous examples in this thread made me want to post my knives here too, since the knife I choose each day I can treat as a C.K., without announcing I won't actually be carrying it in my pocket. I am a stickler for details to a fault. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! Thanks for the welcome, buddy!
