My second Buck, a two dot 112.
Picked this one and its leather sheath up at a flea market a couple of weeks ago. The blade is pretty marred, I guess from aggressive attempts at sharpening. Any observations appreciated.

My first 112 was a 2 dot that I picked up at the PX in 1979 or 1980 while stationed at Fort Bragg. I no longer have that knife but I do have a different 2 dot.
I always did like the absence of a nail nick and the squared off frame. Never had a problem with the thick blade grind back then but nowadays I prefer the newer grind.
Man, somebody really tore up that blade. As you might already know, Buck recently built a 112 for BCCI with an old style blade. It wouldn’t surprise me if they still have some of those blades on hand but I don’t know that for a fact.

A few years ago Buck was replacing 110 and 112 blades for $10. The knife got repolished while they were at it.
