Hi Guys!

Post by RockyBlue »

I`m new at everything ! That`s the best way to discribe myself. I`m just another old fart who loves knives and rocks.I have purchased a couple of fixed blades to work on until i become good enough and knowledgeable enough to do one from scratch. Now that `im retired and on a limited income i can`t get all the high dollar equipment that is need to do a full custom knife. So i`m going to try with the equipment i have which is a Dremel,4x36 belt disc sander combo, slab saw{tile saw} 2 grinders one with regular grinding stones and one with 220 grit green stones {for shaping rock slabs} and with everybodys help maybe i can make a plain ole usable working knife............Rocky

I have done hundreds of custom stone scaled pocket and fixed blade knives. I have a very elaborate tutorial that is hosted here on the AAPK site and linked both from the main menu here and from my website. Feel free to ask me questions as I am perfectly willing ot share any "secrets' I know of.....
