Re: Comfort Knives!
Thanks a bunch, Tony, glad you like them! I bought a knife recently from "TSA Knives.com"
, and they have Rosecraft Cutlery Knives listed for sale. When I reached the bottom of their listings, they have a banner stating, "We are the exclusive distributor for RCC knives". Is this accurate? Thx!
Thanks, Dog, I have a few G/H U/C models, and each one is a solid well made knife, folders and fixers! A string-bow from the "Rambo" movie is currently listed on Arizona-C-K for $75,000./one of a very few. It's been there a looong time! There is also a gorgeous folder listed from G/H, but too much for me. Those "trade-fests" sound like they'd be a real hoot! The Case you showed us goes way beyond "comfort", it's gorgeous, and the big blue "Viking" workhorse I'm guessing is a Demko?
I was referring to the Zombies not being your style, buddy, not Kenny Rogers whom I would never make that mistake where you're involved, from what I know of you, I'd say Kenny is exactly your style!
You're not out and you're not dusted, Kerry, you are posting gorgeous examples and always have, and even if you weren't, it's not a contest, buddy, just some dudes sitting around showing off their pocket cutlery, and you are in like flint! Thanks for the compliment, Mr. Comfort Knife dude!
Thanks for your nice words, Kevin, why don't you drop in more often and post some of your stunning C.K.'s, I for one would love to see them!

Re: Comfort Knives!
Mark, in response to your question about TSA ... Far as I know, no single dealer is the "Official Distributor", as it says on their website, for RoseCraft Blades. It is most likely just the way they worded the fact that they are an authorized or qualified dealer. The same as I have in my signature and on eBay, etc., stating "We are a qualified RoseCraft Dealer". This is done by permission from RoseCraft. All dealers are subject to MAP pricing on their knives. Hope this helps.Madmarco wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 5:15 am Thanks a bunch, Tony, glad you like them! I bought a knife recently from "TSA Knives.com"

Re: Comfort Knives!
Thanks M&M ... I saw an insane price for two numbered "Rambo" knives made by the original maker. ... I think I would buy a new car instead (or a cabin and 500 acers in Manitoba) ...Madmarco wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 5:15 am Thanks, Dog, I have a few G/H U/C models, and each one is a solid well made knife, folders and fixers! The big blue "Viking" is made by Midgards Messer* It is solid as a bank vault door. I will grab it to go, when The Zombies come back .... (Come back to life that is as in the "Walking Dead" (Not Jerry Garcia)... as in "The Zombie apocalypse" Not the rock group. ... And now I think we have gone completely OFF the rails on the CKT... ... ....
*The German family-owned company Midgards Messer, led by custom knifemaker Dirk Hofmeister, combines Nordic mythology with modern outdoor knives and innovative customization options. Midgards Messer was founded in 2017 by Dirk Hofmeister in Baden-Württemberg. Today, in addition to knives for the wilderness and hunting, collector and tactical knives are also designed and manufactured there.

Re: Comfort Knives!
Thanks for that info, Tony, it did help, I just thought they were trying to steal your thunder and wanted you to be aware of it, but if you say it's all good, then it's all good!
And now to you, Dog, I guess with the elections turning out how they did a whole bunch of US'er's will be giving thought to moving up here, and as far as I'm concerned, you are all very welcome! If you do come, be sure to bring your farm implements, cuz 500 acres of Manitoba is strictly flat, wheat growing land. Mind you, having spent time in the Hobo Jungle, you'll fit right in! Don't forget your new car!
Yep, I agree this topic has gone off the rails, so let's put it to rest, but first, were you saying that Jerry Garcia looks pretty much like the walking dead, or that he was with the band The Zombies? Your wording makes it unclear, but I'm fairly certain he never played with The Zombies.
Your U/C Gil/H. "Silver Double Shadow" is waaay cool! Did you see it in action in "The Expendables 2"? Wicked blade(s)!

Re: Comfort Knives!
As I recall Jerry Garcia was in a band called "The Walking Dead" ... I think that they had a few hits in the 70's "Truck'en" comes to mind....Madmarco wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 3:49 am Yep, I agree this topic has gone off the rails, so let's put it to rest, but first, were you saying that Jerry Garcia looks pretty much like the walking dead, or that he was with the band The Zombies? Re: Comfort Knives!
Close, but no cigar, buddy, Jerry Garcia was a guitar player and singer for "The Grateful Dead", and "Truck'in" was a tune they did along with "Casey Jones" and many others, or do you already know all this and are rattling my cage?
Re: Comfort Knives!
There was a J Garcia who was somewhat of an artist, in fact, some of his art was featured on Clos du Bois wine labels a few years back. He may have also been known as a guitarist and singer.

Re: Comfort Knives!
As long as I'm here I might as well show you guys a beauty that was in today's mail!
Remember and celebrate Veterans Day my friends, as we up here remember and celebrate Remembrance Day!
This is a D M Knives 11" Frosolone Icepick lockback that sports a 5mm SS bayonet blade and 5mm spring along with a stamp of a leaping Dolphin and D M, SS single ribbed bolster, brass liner and pins, streaked B/W Brazilian horn covers, and if you can believe it a working safety.
An ideal weight of about 7 oz.'s, strong action and lock-up, and perfect fit and finish. This thing is a beast!
I have been watching for a Frosolone (no bottom bolster) model at a reasonable price for some time for it to be represented in my accumulation, so when I found this one there was no deciding, I quickly bought it.
My favorite kind of knife to receive, and it comes from an AAPK store, but only with the help of my silent partner in crime who shall remain anonymous, but know this, He's the Best!
