Looking for a good condition example of this brand knife that was once distributed by Sears.

Evening Tim. There’s a 9530 and a 9508 both stainless in Philco s store . I have a few here that I can dig out if those 2 don’t work for you.

Thanks! Still kinda looking for that one that I can say, “Yea, gotta have that one!” Couple of things - not a fan of Pearl or imitations - and seems like a lot of the Sta-Sharps have the name etched in the blade, not in the tang stamp. If it’s gonna be blade etching, I’m wanting mint or close to it. Yea, I know. I’m being picky - sorry about that - but that’s because I just want one good example. Not planning to collect them. Thanks for checking what you may have.

You might want to search Camillus as well.

The only one that I have with no etch and in very good condition is this Whittler dressed up in Pearl. You are correct that Sta Sharp did a lot of etch. The Sta Sharp Whittler is tight and Roland was the previous care taker and he took great care with his knives . He also mentioned the Whittler with this stamp on it was before Camillus stopped Stamping the tang Sta Sharp for Sears and started etching more . So it’s a rather hard one to find. If interested let’s pm . If not cool and good luck in your pursuit, that’s part of the fun . ::handshake::

JP, that definitely is a good looking knife, but I just can't warm up to Pearl. I know that sounds crazy, but to each his own, right? Thanks for looking for me though. Much appreciated.

Steve, I do have a couple of questions, so, if I don't get a chance to call you tomorrow, I'll at least send a PM.

Thanks for all the responses, guys!

I'm not a fan of pearl in knife handles either. Love them in jewelry but not on my knives.
