Knife handle
Knife handle
Looking for a back handle that would fit this knife. It’s a 62031
Would be happy to pay up for a parts knife or handle alone.
Thank you

That can be repaired with AcraGlas, no need to replace.

Here is one example where I show how to do it.

Re: Knife handle
That stuff really is amazing. I have fooled with different epoxies over the years. But this stuff gets hard as glass. Thank you all for sharing with me. This one I worked on looks better in the hand. Truly a satisfying save to make one pocket ready again.
Re: Knife handle
Attempted the old tested knife also from the first post. Color is way off. May they again sometime. Still an improvement.
Re: Knife handle
Great job!
Matching the color is always the hardest part. Those old beautiful red handles are almost impossible to duplicate.
But then the whole point is to make the knife useable again, not to fool anyone into not knowing it was broken. There was one fellow on here a few years ago that would patch them with brass. It highlighted the patch rather than hiding it, and I thought it was beautiful (though there were mixed reactions to it!)
What really impresses me with yours is how well you matched the jigging pattern. That is practically perfect, even matching the wear of the old bone!
I would show those two off with pride!

Re: Knife handle
Hobby stores that carry clear pourable epoxys have coloring agents such as the one shown. Just a touch of the red shown can be mixed to come close to the old red bone Case that have been damaged or chipped.
