Some winter time carries.
I handle larger knives better with cold hands.
Plus, I like big knives; so I carried two today.

A Ka-Bar stockman at 3 15/16" closed.

An American Shear & Knife Co. swell center hunter at 5 1/4" closed.

Well used; well sharpened.

This is one beautiful knife, David, I couldn't make out the stamps, but you revealed them further on and it's from a maker I'm not familiar with, but he sure makes great knives! You must think so too, since you posted it all by itself instead of your usual twosome where a second knife can be distracting, very clever indeed! ::tu::

Nice TWKG! ::tu:: I have one of those, and like the fish knife/lockback hunter look of it.
Awesome carries everyone else! Been busy of late, and way behind on the forum. This thread is always full of great cutlery! ::tu::

Yeah man it's an interesting configuration, it checked alot of boxes for me too. Fish, lockback, brass and wood, made in Japan.

Back at the grindstone today, I had some plumbing issues to take care of yesterday and Ireland had her vet appointment. 🐈‍⬛

Totin' a William Enders EO WWII era Teardrop, iron bolsters and maybe gumfuddy scales. It looks rubbery but it's pretty solid.
