Need Your Prayers Please

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Need Your Prayers Please

Post by dlr110 »

First Cheryl tested positive for Covid 19 and now I've got all the symptoms too and I really feel like...you know what!
It's in my chest and I really don't need that with my pulmonary fibrosis. Please keep us in your prayers that it won't get worse and we have a quick recovery. Thank you and God Bless... :D

David, I'm also praying for both of you.

I'm not telling you what you should or shouldn't do. But, FYI, we both came down with covid a while back and my doc prescribed a medication called paxlovid, and it really seemed to minimize the covid symptoms and shortened the recovery time. (My wife Judy couldn't take paxlovid because our doc said it would interfere with her asthma medication.)

David,

Praying for you and Cheryl. I know what you're going through. Last September, my wife and I both came down with C-19. It was a rough three weeks. Aches, minor pains throughout body, tiredness, headaches, moderate coughing. Fortunately, it never affected our respiratory system where we had difficulty breathing. It did take approximately 8 weeks for all symptoms to be gone and get back to 100%.

If you go the Paxlovid direction as mentioned, you MUST do it within 5 days of symptoms appearing. After that, it will not do you any good. If you have an Oximeter to check your O2 levels, you should keep and eye on those levels daily. It's very important that your O2 levels remain above 95 or higher. If they drop below 90, you should seek medical attention. An Oximeter is the little thing you put on your finger and it reads your O2 level and pulse. Any drug store will have them.

Again...prayers to you and yours.

David I'm praying for both of you to have a mild case and a rapid recovery. I'll also echo what has been said about exploring paxlovid as a treatment option.

I'm very grateful for all you and your prayers. I got up this morning feeling like I had
really gotten some rest last night and much of the joint pain is gone. My breathing
is much better and I'm not coughing like I was before. I'm thinking I may have turned
the corner on this. I found out that our Pastor, his wife and numerous others at church
have also been sick during this same time period. Thank you all for your thoughts and
prayers and lifting us up to our Heavenly Father. ::pray::

You have my prayers, of course. I can recommend what helped me, when diagnosed with C-19.
I immediately started a zinc supplement, (standard tablet size, from your regular pharmacy shelf.)
And right away, I started taking “Zicam” as directed. Three days later, I was good as gold.
Keep well hydrated, get some rest, and begin taking a vitamin D3+K2 supplement to ward off future infections…
I take these daily with meals. Haven’t has as much as a sniffle since… (daily carry thrown in as a bonus!)

Thanks.
I used to scoff at my Pops, when he recommended the Zicam. But truly, I tested + for C-19, started the Zicam cycle right off, and in three days, I was done with it all.
Coupla friends reported similar results.
Seems to be a little truth to the homeopathic approach.
Not homeopathic, but also highly effective, is Colostrum. Which you can pick up, believe it or not, at the Wal Mart. This stuff is an immune system powerhouse.
