Very pretty, and love the Tribal lock frame. Years ago I recall a debate around here on which is easier to sharpen and which holds the better edge: Case CV or Case SS? I thought the gist of the debate was the CV. How would you rate it compared to CV? Thanks and great to see you post on this thread.

Iman I cut a lot of heavy cardboard with it and maybe once a month all I've been doing is hit it with a steel a few times and it brings that edge right back. I think the stainless lasts a good bit longer than the CV if you get one with a good factory edge.

Thanks for the answer. I have learned that's true. If I have the right edge on SS all it takes is a bit of stropping and it will shave hair again. I feel similar about the CV, but don't know if I can tell which holds an edge better, or longer. Thanks for the insight, I like hearing about others experience.

What could be nicer than a single spear-point blade combined with warm an' beautiful jigged bone covers and cool shield, and let's not forget it's EZO and front-lock features, wow! Others may rebute this statement, but, IMHO, this is the nicest coolest knife you've posted to date! Well done, buddy!

Great little knives, Paul, and it would seem that someone/everyone in your household will be receiving some fine gifts for Christmas seeing as you're working on them already! Actually, I just saw my calendar and Christmas is only about 10 days away, but I have no doubt my thinking isn't far off just the same. Who is your friend in the last 2 pictures, he's very handsome and loveable looking? He must have a few years behind him considering those white whiskers and all, but full of experience I'm sure!

I just saw my calendar and Christmas is only about 10 days away, but I have no doubt my thinking isn't far off just the same.

The holidays are closing in fast Marco ... in fact, just last week it was The Anniversary of the Statute of Westminster (observed on December 11 each year to mark the statute's establishment). And don't forget Dec 26, (Thursday) Boxing Day (Optional Holiday in Alberta), ... The year is flying by!
