Here is a knife I started a couple years ago.
I managed to break the back spring and set it aside until I got another spring.
well I found this a while back and decided it should be finished.
I replaced the steel bolsters with extended nickel silver bolsters. I put rope filework on the backspring and put jigged honey horn on for handles. I also did some filework on the bolsters.
I was pretty happy with the way it looks.

Rope knives are usually pretty utilitarian, but yours is one classy looking knife. I can imagine the care and effort you put into this and it was well worth it.
