Comfort Knives!

Grandson gave me this knife around 20 years ago, his maternal grandpa got one also, had instructions to tote it, sharpen it, use it and one day he'd get it back and have a knife his pa love and carried, I've done these things even lost it one time, luckily I found it. To say it's a comfort knife is a understatement.

That's a beauty, BH, and a great story to go along with it! Those warm beige covers certainly are comforting! I'd love to be a fly on the wall the day you present it back to him!

Thanks a bunch, Zach and Dog, it's a Russell Green River Works 9" single spear-point EZO Barlow, with burnt orange checkered covers, NS bolsters, and SS liners. When in-hand it feels like it's suppose to be there!

Thanks buddy, it IS a very cool knife!
I didn't realize until I took a 2nd look that your last knife posted is from Cold Steel, which seems unusual to me for them, but you can be certain it's a solid quality knife.
