Great for transporting knives to and from. Possibly not so good for knife storage.

Oh, did you have a bad experience with one? I’ve stored knives in similar cases for many years. I live in a dry climate

Yes, I've personally had a bad experience, as have several others. https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... 0#p1138700. I just hate to see a fellow knifer have their knives damaged.

Ah gotcha, thank you for the heads up. I don’t use those types with the elastic band. I’ve just had the ones with the individual compartments and haven’t had an issue in over 20 years.
