The knives you guys have posted throughout this year have been nothing short of awesome, superb, and a joy to look at in this thread. I have been an AAPK member now for 1 year / 25 days, and the knowledge I have gained since is priceless. Owe it all to you.

Many thanks to you all, and Happy New Year!! Carryin' this tonight...

Did some knife trading with the family over the holiday.
Ended up with my Dad's old Queen. He wasn't much on sharpening or taking care of a knife, but this old gal still has good snap with a tight blade.
Gonna try to sharpen and carry today...

Nice carries, David. ::tu:: ::tu::

Here's an old new knife that I have had for quite a while.
Almost never carry it. I thought I would bring in the new year with it in my pocket.
4 5/16" closed. No liners but a nicely engineered spring catch milled and screwed? into the frame to lock the blade.
I'll call it a frame lock. (I ignore the clip.)

Thanks WoodWalker! Odd thing is that my oldest son gave it to me.
He and Dad were really close. It has found a new home till he gets it back when I'm gone.
