I am starting a retirement hobby in knife making, currently building folding knives from kits.
Here is my first 2-blade kit build. The knife is a Trapper model from Woodcraft. The handles are Sapele wood left from another project.

Re: first 2-blade kit build
Good job!
I bought a knife kit for my Dad one year. He had a great time putting it together, but was not motivated to do another.
If you enjoy it, I highly recommend taking apart and rehandling some old knives as well. You will be surprised how much you learn, even after the kits.
It is a GREAT retirement hobby!
