Trying to get a picture of some Flickers in the underbrush next to my place but Blue Jays were the only things posing. Don't normally post them, but liked this one.

Sky Carp are back, and thick in this area. These 2 shots of them are common scenes around here, a couple thousand geese, and farms, coal mines in the background.

I don't think I've ever seen that many geese at one time.
What kind of geese are they?

Large flocks this time of year, consist primarily of Snow Geese with some Specks (Specklebelly), and Canadians mixed in. The Snow population has increased a great deal over the last few years, and they are much more numerous than they were 40 or 50 years ago.

I get it. You can't walk around the Corp reservoirs around here for the poop. They don't migrate anymore, they are here year round.
I've always considered them a nuisance.

Doglegg, there is something very appealing about the Titmice. Got a flock of them yesterday afternoon. Also some Juncos turned up.
