Here is my comfort for the day;... reminds me of the Drake Well IvoryMan bombed me last year!
Thank you, bud, my Queen's came out because of what B-H had posted about a certain S & M model, and I wanted to show him the picture. I haven't scrutinized my accumulation in awhile, but as I started going through it again now I realize I have some great knives and wanted to show them to ya'll.GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:58 pmMadmarco wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 8:28 pmThanks for your input, B-H, this one from QCC has a s/g but no bottom bolster. I actually have the exact knife you described, but I removed the s/g, although, I can't post it cuz I can't find it! also have this Robeson that seems identical in every way except color, no lock-back, and a different shield.M&M you are on a roll with the Queens!!!

Looking good and the Robeson to boot!!!

I remember when you posted this gorgeous knife, Tony, the Royal Flush is what caught my eye.Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 12:11 am Well said T-Dog! Queens and Robesons are royalty!
Moving toward page 150, I would like to contribute one posted before, but not in this thread.
Thanks a bunch, Rick, and with all my talk about autos it's not surprising you would think that, but of the 500 or so knives in my possession 65 are automatics, about 25 are fixed blades, and the remaining 400 or so are old and new, usual and unusual folders. Mark/SSk got me interested in Mcusta's and Moki's, and while doing business with him I couldn't help but to notice and purchase quite a few of the listings in his store, and you know that spans a big selection. I pretty much appreciate anything of beauty, and there are some beautiful knives out there. I have only 1 GEC model and that number is unlikely to change due to their high cost, but they sure make some fabulous knives.RedRaiderRick wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 2:22 amMarco I did not know you were into traditionals but you have thrown down some beauties lately! I used to only buy modern knives but I think Ivoryman has won me over with his GEC beauties.Madmarco wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2025 9:01 pm Comfy up to this little beauty, guys!
8)WIN_20250111_13_59_27_Pro.jpgWIN_20250111_14_01_37_Pro.jpgMy 8 1/4" S & M single blade lock-back!
Warm brown jigged bone covers, NS hardware, brass liners, NS shield.
Nice 4 oz. weight and came sharp.
Walks open silky smooth with a snappy talk.
This baby feels reaaaaly good in your hand.
Would someone please tell me what this model is called, hunter, trapper, etc.?Thx!
Are we comfy yet?

Nice knife TWKG!
Well, you sortta got my routine, Zach, but the knife is all wrong.ThatWeirdKnifeGuy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 2:20 pm Look! A knife!![]()
This must be what Marco feels like. Walking around my house looking out into the cold I'd rather not walk out into, with an unnecessarily large knife in my pocket.

I don't think my tiny hand could hold the big one, let alone it and it's little brother simultaneouslyMadmarco wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 12:15 amWell, you sortta got my routine, Zach, but the knife is all wrong.ThatWeirdKnifeGuy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 2:20 pm Look! A knife!![]()

Well, I don't have any shrunken hands nearby at the moment, I have no idea what "photo-shop" is, so it must be me!GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 12:52 amAt first, I thought you were using a "shrunken-hand-model" (see "Hand-model" post)...
then I noticed that it appears that your giant knife is NOT the work of photo-shop or using a tiny hand to make the knife appear bigger...
... and that leads to my next point: That knife is insane!!!

To be totally honest, Zach, I have fairly big hands and even with them it's quite a feat juggling around 2 cumbersome knives with only 1 of them.ThatWeirdKnifeGuy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 1:01 amI don't think my tiny hand could hold the big one, let alone it and it's little brother simultaneouslyMadmarco wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 12:15 amWell, you sortta got my routine, Zach, but the knife is all wrong.ThatWeirdKnifeGuy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 2:20 pm Look!
