HELP! Looking for Knife Prices/Values & Details!!!

Post by WhiskeyTango333 »

Hey Yall! I was recently left a knife collection, and I am not an avid knife collector. Hints my plead for help. I have attempted to value the pocketknives however the two sources I used, well google proved them untruthful. I took a bulk picture and would like help finding information on these knives. I would like to sell them once I am able to find a fair price, I have been approved to sell on this platform.

You'll likely see the advice I'm about to share posted in numerous threads throughout AAPK. I have found the most accurate and up to date way of finding the APPROXIMATE value of a knife (particularly modern ones) is to check completed sales on Ebay. You can do an advance search of a particular knife such as "Boker Canoe" and then see what others have sold for recently. Bear in mind that condition can greatly alter value. A used Boker Canoe won't bring nearly as much as one still like new in the original box. Also, it makes a difference where the knife was made. If the shield says "Solingen" it was made in Solingen, Germany. If it says "Germany" then it was most likely made in China with only some final touches being applied after it was shipped to Germany. That will make a difference to a lot of buyers.

You say you have been approved to sell here, but I don't see a premium membership banner next to your name or a link to your AAPK store.

You'll need to show photos of the tang stamps on the top two knives. Hard to say what they are without knowing the maker.

One thing I've found on AAPK, if you enable the MAKE OFFER tab, 90 percent of the time the value of the knife is what it sales for, the other 10 percent is someone trying to get something for free. Just an opinion, Good Luck!
