Munching on a raw sweet potatoe with my coffee. Got a bunch of sweet potatoes given to me and I knew I liked raw potatoes, when mom would slice them up to fry, I would always grab a handful of raw potatoe. First time with raw sweet potatoe. It ain't bad! :) might be a country boy thing, I dont know. :) slicing it up with my Case Muscrat.

Well I carry most of what I have at some time or another. I am a warehouse manager so I don't use a knife for much more than opening a box or something like that. I normally don't carry the same knife two days in a row. But today I happen to be carrying one of my favorites. Its a Smith and Wesson stockman. I like it because as you can see in the pics, it has very thick scales. It feels like you are holding something substantial in your hand, I also like that the edges and corners seem to have been smoothed out. There is not a sharp feeling in my pocket from the tang end of the blade. It's not the best or most expensive knife in the world or even my world, but it is a favorite.

Very nice knife!! I see why it's one of your favorites! I worked in a wire manufacturing warehouse for many years and always had a pocket knife on me. :D

Cool slicer, Kevin, but be careful eating raw food, ::hmm:: parasites and whatnot you know. Mind you, if you've been doing so since you were a kid, you're either incredibly lucky or you're immune! You certainly need not worry about losing that knife, that bright red makes it very visible!

That's a good looking knife, Captain Kirk, and I like how you want to feel the knife in your hand, so for me they have to be thick, but not in my pocket feeling sharp so smooth is necessary also. I have knives costing upwards of $700., yet some of my most prized pieces ran a fraction of that, so if you like the knife cost is secondary, for me anyway and I live on pensions.
