Got the Remington razor Barlow for my ACSB pile and the S&M Humpback Jack because it was too unusual to pass up.

My wife wanted to get me a Spyderco Para 3 Salt Magnacut for Christmas but they were rather elusive and she couldn't find one in time. I assumed that since I didn't have one under the tree, that was the end of it.

As it turned out, she didn't give up. She found one on New Years Day and ordered it. It finally showed up today. She was going to make it a Valentines gift but I retrieved the package off the porch myself and saw the dealer's return address.

I love it. I also like how Spyderco puts "CPM" in front of Magnacut on the tang. Not all makers do that. I'm glad Spyderco puts it there considering that Crucible Steel will likely be closing their doors soon which I'm kinda sad about.

Not to measure up to the fine knives already posted but here is a little A. G. Russell baby doctors knife fished out of the shallow end of the bay. It is surprisingly sharp. Thanks for looking.

Those are nice knives Doglegg.

Edited post, I realized that that the doctor’s knife in the picture is the one of the later ones that A.G had made in China. I didn’t see the scalpel blade before, that is a dead giveaway. Not one made by Queen, which he did have many made by them. I do own both kinds, made by Queen and the ones made in China. I like the scalpel blade addition that he had on these later ones, and you can’t argue about the quality of them, it’s top notch.

When I compared them side by side with S&M doctor’s knives I couldn’t find any differences except the handle material. Great knives that will never be made again.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, my wife can be very sneaky sometimes. I once took a trip to Grand Prairie Knives but she stayed home. While I was driving there she ordered a knife for me and told the clerk what kind of t-shirt I was wearing. The clerk handed it to me and I knew right away what had happened.

Then another time, she bought me a knife from Ryan Daniels at a knife show while me and a friend were literally standing right beside her looking at other knives. Neither one of us noticed her buying it. When we got back home she told me the story and gave me the knife.

Have y'all seen a knife that catches your attention and the description says "unsharpened" but there is a question about the handles and you just can't resist? Well this is one I wasn't disappointed with when it arrived in the mail today.
A Queen, Large Half Congress, no tang stamp ('61-'71) with Winterbottom handles and a perfect etch on the main blade, QueenSteel#31 but with unusual colors. The mark side is bleached out similar to the EDC #49 that is with me quite often, the pile side is like a NIB #49 that is in the drawer that never sees the light of day. ::shrug:: Wondering if this knife may have been in a display cabinet, exposing the mark side to the light or sun through a store window or maybe that side just didn't get the full handle coloring treatment at the factory. And one other thing, it has half stops! ::tu::
It is what it is and "I'm as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine" with my new Queen!
Faded side?
Faded side?
Colored as other knives in this condition.

Nice grab.

I have one in Stag. Great little knives. It's one of the very few multi-blade knives I own that I can pinch the main blade open without using the nail nick.

I love Dr.'s knives, Floyd, so as far as I'm concerned, yours measures up! I'd prefer just the 1 main blade, but that's just my quirk. ::shrug::

That's a nice little folder, Philip, and a bit unusual. I really like the jigging, as well as the different colors from side to side.
And yes, I'm quite familiar with the "unsharpened" scenario, it happens more times than I'd like to admit!

Great piece, Rick, very nice covers on that little baby! I'd get married to the same woman again if I was married, and you might want to consider doing the same just to ensure she doesn't get away! That lady deserves a special gift from you, buddy, just because! ::nod::

Added new Lone Wolf Paul knife to the collection. Pearl and abalone, absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Updated photo of the Lone Wolf collection. Started buying these nearly 20 years ago. Wish I had bought more back then.
The Presto blade is my favorite.
