Hey Roger! to AAPK!Roger Cooper wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 4:51 am nice 110 I just got one in also, how you like it? I can’t resist pushing the button, hopefully I don’t over do it…NCC1701 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 4:05 pm Good morning. I am starting to feel bad about posting everyday, but I swear I carry something different daily. I skipped yesterday.... I had a Hen & Rooster stockman with me. Today its Buck 110 day. Carrying my 110 auto in a sheath. It's just a bit much for the pocket in my opinion. I had my name laser etched on it so if someone steals it, they will have to look at my name forever. I have a 112 auto also with an engraved blade.
What you're have trouble resisting is commonly referred to as ""click-therapy", and it's the pleasure one gets from simply holding, examining, fondling and the most important, firing our automatic knives for no other reason than the sheer enjoyment it brings. You need to be addicted to auto knives in order to get a craving for some "click-therapy", but not to worry bud, you're hooked! lol!
The results of participating in this hobby can but not necessarily will, end-up with broken springs that certainly can be a PITA, but not overwhelming by any stretch. Many models nowadays can be self-served with spring replacement, and for those that can't there are many mechanics that can do the repairs for reasonable prices.
Enjoy the forum, bud, you're gonna fit right in!

I have officially runout of adjectives to describe your knives, I-man, so from here on in I will simply yell out "Beautiful knives today, I-man", as I'm strolling on by, so turn up the volume on your headphones!
Another great display, buddy!

A bit big for my pocket, but it's so nice I'll find a away to carry it! I found a way, it's sheath!
Parker 11" "I Never Fail" front-lock slip-joint with a thick blade bone covers and coffin bolsters, it's thick believe me! A long-time favorite!

Doglegg,
Thank you for the welcome. I agree about so many beautiful knives! What eye candy.
Madmarco,
Thank you also for the welcome. Your daily there is a ‘biggun’ but very nice looking.
I could spend a lot of time here perusing the great looking cutlery on this thread as well as many others! Too bad I gotta do other stuff!
Sam
BTW, probably good there is not a like button, that I’ve found, I’d wear it out!

Marco, you don't need a sheath to carry that sweet Parker. Just log into eBay and search for "Vintage 1990's M.C. Hammer Pants" ... I suspect those "Hammer" pockets are more than adequate to fit your Parker folder, and maybe a switch blade too...

Hey thanks for the nice comments Marco, very kind of you. I like the scales on that huge one you posted.

Spyderco Para 3 Salt for the last 10 days or so. I am quickly becoming quite attached to it.
The thumb ramp and the grippy scales combine to give a very confident grip. I can choke up on the blade thanks to the jimped finger choil and thumb ramp. Another very confident grip. And the Compression Lock is super easy and enjoyable to use. Push the black tab sideways to unlock the blade. It might look like a prehistoric creature but in use, it’s a slam dunk winner. Made at the Spyderco factory in Golden, Colorado.

Man David!!!
I must say that is one of the most beautiful Combos I have seen in some time now!
Is that WayNorth Cutlery still in Business? I really like the blade on that one. The long pull, the beveled Edge, the inscription on it. It all goes together so nicely.
Edith: OK I get it, it's from GEC. I'll have to put that on my wish list for now and come back to it latter.
