Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
This is my meager haul from the Beulah Knife show in Boaz Alabama. I only bought a few.
#1 Western 642 (? Not 100% sure on that model #!). I have a couple of these that I am thinking about modifying.
#2 Keen Kutter congress. I thought that it was a Boker when I bought it. It just needs a little cleaning and a patch on that bone.
#3 Schrade 77OT. It only needs two of the blades replaced, ha ha! I do enjoy a good Muskrat knife, and I hope that this one will be good someday.
#4 Camco Lone Ranger. Someone had a bin of "3 for $25" knives, and I grabbed this one just to get 3 knives. My Dad used to have one of these as a boy, so I may clean it up and give it to him.
#5 Samco. An inexpensive advertising knife from Nashville TN. Needs new handles.
#6 Gerber. In good shape, and worth more than I paid.
Most importantly, I got to hang out with my brother and Dad!

Nice haul. I don't see anything meager about it. I own that Gerber model and found it to be a bit "unusual". Typical Gerber quality, but there's just something a little odd about it.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
The advertising is still barely there, but worn to the point that I cannot read much of it, and it doesn't show up in the photo at all. The rear handle is cracked, so it may receive some new clothes in the future!Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:06 pm The SAMCO is cool. Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I picked up this Camco yesterday at an indoor flea market. A serpentine jack, I believe, it comes in at 3 3/8". I carried it today for breakfast at IHOP. I thought I'd share a pic of it before I take those cell scales off tonight. There's a bit of brown frown along the edges of a couple of bolsters, but I'm hopeful as to the possible damage underneath.
Thanks for looking,
Chris J.

Scott, you must have gone up the road to Bevilles corner.
Found a few knives there in the past after rooting around Webster till we got tired.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Scott Knice haul, I like to go to Bevilles corners better than Webster a least l can get around to see most of the vendors wares, and man the folks up there are are nice and friendly, I found several nice Queens there a few years ago and got a bunch of paperback reading material for 50 cents apiece. Normally I'd be down there this time of year, but the bosses sister cousin is in Illinois taking cancer treatments and some of our favorite places were hit by the hurricanes. Maybe next if our health stays good.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Picked up two engraved knives this weekend. Pictured is a large CASE knife. I don’t recall seeing that stamp before. Engraving by HONZ for Tom Korn (I do not know ether of them) not a fan of a former knife owners name on a knife but too nice in my eyes not to buy.
You can always get more money, good old knives are hard to find.

Very beautiful! They did a great job engraving. I can see why you chose to own it!Rockingkj wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 11:56 pm Picked up two engraved knives this weekend. That's a handsome knife, KJ, I love coke-bottle frames and it goes well with the bright red color. It's not hard to see why you bought it, it's a really nice knife.
Congratulations!

An old L.F.&C. small stockman and a cool little display box to put it in.
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

Thanks. Since I do some engraving myself easily to appreciate the skill it took to complete that work.

Well, I've been looking for a reasonably priced 2009 Club knife for almost 15 years and I finally landed one. I didn't find AAPK until 2010, joined about 14 years ago to the day. Now I will have a complete set, minus the ones offered in two different handle material.
