Eustache historical friction folder, a pattern that emerged at the end of the 18th century…

I'm sure you experienced your share of snow squalls over there, that close to Erie. I apologize if you have nightmares about such tonight! When I lived in the snow belt of West Michigan, I had a coworker who was from Mcallen, her opinion of snow was quite similar to yours.

Nice Camillus, JP!

John ,nice old Whittler there !
Your idea of Whittler Wednesday motivated me to get this old Camillus out and slid it in a pocket today . Usually have a Kershaw leek for EDC but feeling a little old school today . And really like the manicure blade to clean up the old ragged fingernails once in a while. Plus this Whittler is a favorite.
You all have a grand day out there

Did you post this knife in a different thread, bud, asking if anyone knew what it is, and that's how you "just found out" it's a Northfield?woodwalker wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 11:23 am Page full of beautiful cutlery! It's a really cool little knife, however you learned about it!

Good looking "Brother", brother Ken! I own around half a dozen models, with single spear-points mind you. Just outside $100.00 for the lot, and I love each and every one of them! I don't care where they come from, they're darn good knives!

That's one cool little multi, JP, and I am most knowledgeable with "old ragged fingernails", so much so that I own shares in "O'Keef's" hand cream!Ripster wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 2:56 pm1967redrider wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 1:47 pm Diamond Edge Shapleigh for Whittler Wednesday, one of my Voyles knives.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I did Mark. I posted it in the Questions and Answers thread. Miller Bro (Dimitri) was able to read it and let me know it was a Norrhfield. I have been reading all day about Northfield today and they sure have some great history with award winning knives, that are pretty hard to find. Funny, after Dimitri identified it, I took our my loupe, and there it was. Hit me right in the face. Funny how that works. I'm tickled to have it. Thanks for commenting on it. Each blade was hand forged on Northfield knives. The old ones that is. Have a good evening. Its 1 degree here in Southeast Missouri tonight. Probably a heat wave compared to what your used too!!Madmarco wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 12:12 amDid you post this knife in a different thread, bud, asking if anyone knew what it is, and that's how you "just found out" it's a Northfield?woodwalker wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 11:23 am Page full of beautiful cutlery!
