Wasn’t that one of your “grail” knives at one time, Quentin? Or at least one you were hunting?

Wow, you have an impressive memory, Ken. It's true, at one time I was hunting for the original 2014 Bubba Gum 6107W (with the Lady Case blade etch) when I was trying to collect every Case _107W ever made (unsuccessful). Surprisingly (to me, at least) that particular model ended up becoming quite a collector item with some selling on eBay for several hundred dollars. I really don't expect the 2025 version (without the fancy blade etch) to repeat the fame and glory of its predecessor, but if it does, the friend I already gave it to will be very happy! :D

Here's one that I recently picked up that I'm keeping for myself ::nod::

This Case 63032 in white bone came in the other day. I had to finish Case's job for them - it had terrible blade rub. The tip of the pen blade was up against the sheep's foot in the closed position, and the sheep's foot was crinked over so far against the master clip that the clip would not close without pushing it down. I debated on sending it back to Case, but decided to take a chance and use my old cutler steady and a brass mallet to lightly tap-tap-tap the blades into position. Luckily it worked, and now all three blades close with a nice click and virtually no blade rub. I know the 32 is a narrow frame, but the blades should still be able to snap closed. Now that it is sorted out, I really like the knife.

Spyderco Chaparral. The flat ground blade is impressively thin. Even at the spine.

Thank you Tony. You are going to be sorely tempted to carry these. That Mcusta slips right into your pocket and opens so smoothly. The Moki just looks great when you take it out, gets a lot of attention. I have one on my kitchen table and use it every day, sharpened pencils yesterday with it, opened a knife box today, love it, it’s my favorite EDC. Glad you are happy with them.

Thank you Tim! I was really late to the party getting one of Mark's Mokis, but very happy I did.

Y'all are showing some mighty fine new knives! ::tu::
I fished another old Queen #26 out of the shallow end of the bay. No tang stamp '61-'71, etch is long gone, still enough blade metal to be a good EDC for somebody.
3 1/4" is a bit small for my liking, it'd work in a pinch.

Blade wear is evident, still walks and talks.

Sweet additions everyone! ::nod:: ::tu::

My latest additon is this 2014 Trapper from the "CASE XX CAMO CALIBER COLLECTION". It had a few tarnished and rusty spots on the blades but I went over them with some 3,000 & 5,000 grit sandpapier this morning and removed all those. Just needed some TLC & some oil. Looks pretty good now and will make a nice EDC. It's a bit larger than the EDC's I normally carry but I can deal with it so I'll be giving it a ride in my pocket this week. ::tu:: :D

That light weight trapper looks like a winner, Tom.
When the week is up, tell us what you think about it as an EDC.

You and me both, Philip :D Although, personally I prefer bone to Delrin handles; but, I do agree with you about the small size ::nod::

Nice pick up and refurbisment job, Tom ::tu:: I think you will find that despite the larger size, the light weight of that trapper makes iit a comfortable EDC and you'll likely discover the bigger blades are more useful for a wider variety of tasks than the smaller blades on the knives you're more accustomed to carrying. Looking forward to a complete report of your trial run in a week. :D
