710Y

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

710Y

Post by josephashaw »

Looking to buy a 710Y to add to my Yello-JKet collection. I am looking at new condition (if you have one to sale, let me know) knives only for this collection. I'm curious as to why this model doesnt have a shield. Any thoughts? Are there any other slip joints in the YJ series that don't include the Camillus shield on the handle? Im looking for new condition710Y, 709Y and a 713Y. Thanks - JAS

By the way, I found a new in the box 710Y that is supposed to be here Friday, so not looking for it any more. I believe that I have one more pen knife in this series to go (709Y) and then still need the 713Y, 716, 719Y, and 720Y and I will have and example of each model in this series. I am not in a hurry to obtain these next four and will add one here and there as I go. Probably would like to do the 716Y and 719Y next if possible. I really like the larger knives, even if they are not the most practical to carry in your pocket without a sheath.

I think it's because the knife is very small.
