Slipjoint #5 Hawky this time

This is my 5th slipjoint to date built from the ground up and will be the first one I sell. This one is a hawkbill pruner style with antique green jigged bone scales, deeply rattailed nickel silver bolsters, brass liners, brass pins, and some hand rubbed L6 to do the cuttin. I started this nearly a year ago and just got around to finishing it up, hopefully you'll be seeing many more slipjoints in the future. Thanks for looking.

That bone looks fantastic as well! What steel did you use for the spring, I assume it's probably not L6?

Adam, not really that big, real close in size to a case xx 61011 (was actually the knife that inspired this one), both pieces are L6 tempered together, they are both spring consistancy which makes for a good spring and a blade thats easy to sharpen, and if it is to get used up in 75 years like some of the oldies you see floating around providing the joint is kept oiled the parts will wear evenly
