Your offering today, Garry, looks very similar to a knife that Ike posted above recently, although, his appears to have white bone covers, whereas yours has those firey MOP covers, apples and oranges big time! A beautiful knife all round! ::tu::

Yes you did, buddy, so now for today I can walk on by and not feel the need to comment, yah! ::ds::
Don't be concerned mind you, I'll be fully recharged and chompin' at the bit for your offering tomorrow! ::nod:: Thanks for the break! ::handshake::

I feel this disclaimer is necessary; What I said in no way means that I think today's knives are POS's, they're just so far from my style that I wouldn't feel an urge to comment. ::handshake::

Thanks Tom! The main blade had been sharpened and used a lot when I got it, but it still cuts.

Carrying a 142216 Lick Creek today. I look at it like this; if I don’t use it someone else eventually will.

Life is too short.
You are correct ,someone is going to carry em eventually, and it’s been rewarding as well to pass em on and do it all over again. You got a great Lick Creek! That swedge main blade ,with those handles is awesome
Thanks, it was the first GEC I ever purchased. The quality of materials and construction definitely justified the price.
Been toting this Farmers Jack from Mr. Lyles latest release. Excuse the lint and dust in the pictures. The knife is almost to nice to be carrying but like we discussed over 4 years ago now, it just needs pocket and fondling time .
Want to say Thank you Lyle for helping some of us “ not to tech savvy “ folks get one upon the drop . Really didn’t think there was any chance to get one as I was on a job site that day . And I wasn’t able to pay and make any other arrangements till late in the day . But it happened and am very pleased. The quality from GEC has gotten even better I believe .
Are you still toting a Lick creek ?

Nice ones FFF, CCC, Quick S, Ripster, DM, Homer, Rrider, elmo, TPK.

This old Cut Co Schrade steel is the easiest to sharpen that I have. Little strop and it shaves again. Something about the old carbon steel.
