China "Lobster" Pocket Knives.

Post by New_Windsor_NY »

The following pocket knives were ALL included in the various groups or lots of pocket knives that I have purchased recently and over the past few years. They are ALL made in China and are the lobster or gentleman, pattern or style of pocket knife. There are twelve pocket knives total (so far). They are as follows.....

ALL twelve are 2 5/16" closed (not including the loop or ring).
Ten have one blade and "possibly" four tools (a file, scissors, tweezers and a toothpick).
One has one blade and "possibly" five tools (a file, scissors, a screwdriver, tweezers and a toothpick).
(Some have both, tweezers and toothpick. Some have either one and some have neither one.)
One has one blade and three tools (a file, scissors and a screwdriver).
Ten have "STAINLESS (over) CHINA" main blade, front tang stamps.
Two have "STAINLESS" main blade, front tang stamps.
Six have advertising.
One is ALL metal and is personalized with the initials or name, "ARA"
Only one has broken scissors.
Some needed cleaning, some did not.
I took some pictures and here they are. They are NOT in any particular order.
The following pocket knives are the first six pocket knives.
The last six pocket knives are in my very next post.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

Pocket Knife #1. Pictures #1 To #4.
Not too recently, this lobster or gentleman, pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did get added to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. There is absolutely NO country of origin, or ANY other stamp(s) or marking(s), anywhere on this pocket knife. But, I am 99.999% positive that this pocket knife was made in CHINA. It is an UNBRANDED, one blade, one tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), 1 3/4" closed (not including the loop or ring), lobster or gentleman, pattern or style of pocket knife. The blade does have a SOFT half stop. The blade does have an OK opening snap. The blade does have an OK closing snap. The tool opens, closes, and functions properly. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
