Western L77 parts wanted
Looking for guard and pomel fkr the L77

It might be easier to make the guard than to find one. It is pretty straight forward, it just slides down the tangs into position.
The pommel is not too difficult either.
I would use a square block of aluminum and drill it and pin it onto the tangs, after installing the new handle.
Once the pommel block is in place, I would rough shape it with a rasp then finish shaping it on a 1X42 belt sander. I would fine sand it by hand and then polish it.
Be sure to post pics of the process and the end result!
