Camillus Shield for 712

I am in search of a Camillus Shield that will fit a 712Y that is missing one. I am not sure how universal these shields are....several models likely carry the same shield. If you happen to have a junk knife that you will part with cheaply that I could take the shield off of, I would be interested to know your terms.

It would help to show pictures of the knife, if you would. And perhaps a measurement of the spot where the shield once sat.
I may have one, and so may some others, but some of those shields change a little bit over the years, and we would want to be sure that the replacement will fit it.

I should have mentioned that I haven't actually received this knife yet...I purchased it from Ebay yesterday and it is being shipped. I am just trying to locate a shield as I plan to work on the knife some as it appears to have a small hairline crack in the scale as shown in the picture. The knife may have been a mistake but the price was good and I really like the stockman pattern and I liked the blade combination on this one. Thanks again!!

That should be an easy shield to find . eBay has some on it now and then. Might have one in the shop , will look when I can get over there. That’s a nice CONGRESS pattern you have there . The serrated blade is a little tricky to sharpen.

Thank you. I have just started accumulating Camillus knives, focusing on the Yello-Jaket line....this one is not a yellow jacket, but for the price, I liked the blades and having a serrated option.
