Germany - Straight Razors.

Not too recently, this straight razor arrived in a group or lot of knives that I purchased. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of knives to obtain this particular straight razor. I do NOT collect straight razors. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, "foreign born" cutlery accumulation. It is a Lion Brand (Manufactured by YANKEE CUTLERY Co.), one blade, two stamps, 6 1/4" closed, straight razor. The blade front stamp says, "LION BRAND (over) MANUFACTURED BY (over) YANKEE CUTLERY CO." There is also a vertical "500" on the left side. The blade back stamp says, "EACH RAZOR MAGNETIZED (over) GERMANY" This straight razor came with the original box or container. The box or container main part says, "Lion Brand - Manufactured by - YANKEE CUTLERY Co." There is also a vertical "GERMANY" on the left side. The box or container smaller part says, "Each Razor Magnetized - Price $3.00" Overall, the straight razor is in GOOD condition. The box or container is also in GOOD condition. I did NOT clean the straight razor. I just wiped it off.
