That's a beauty. Aerial, Canton, Novelty,Golden Rule. All very similar. O'.

Yeah I considered that. I also connected the dots to a badly gassing nudie cutie I recently acquired in another lot. Looks very similar to what I've been seeing. Also has a stamp in poor condition. I double checked and it looks like it's also a GRC.

Here are some images of picture knife covers by various manufacturers. Some are unmarked and others have had the name ground off. The large leg is a Standard Knife co.(CASE),and there are GOLDEN RULE, VIGNOS,THORNTON, COLONIAL, USA,etc. They are all original except one that is a pic of my mother circa 1927. One handle had deteriorated(the other side was fine!) so l replaced it with a period correct picture.1st picture.
