3 Roosters
3 Roosters
No blade etch, ‘82-‘94 tang stamps, 2 Roosters between “Fight’n” and “Rooster” in gold…painted, inlayed???…on the show side. I know they are at least 30 years old, but I can’t find any mention of the red, nor black, online. A Green one sold on the Bay sometime in the past.

I found a green one and a couple more as well. And it appears had I oriented the colors correctly I would have covered St. Paddy's(green) and Black History Month(red, black, green-the Afro-American Flag, created in 1920 by members of UNIA with the help of Marcus Garvey)

Charlie, thanks for the kind words. And, that’s two fine Roosters you’ve got there.

“… And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way.”
“My Way” by Frank Sinatra
3 Rough Ryders
3 Rough Ryders
That’s the last of my canoe collection. Looking forward to seeing what others have got.

Believe it or not, I fretted over the proper way to spell "Canittler" so much I had to do a search in this thread to see if I was the only one who felt the Canal Street spelling was incorrect  Turns out, the spelling seems to be somewhat "grammar fluid" according to those who have mentioned this particular pattern in this thread. Since the word is obviously a portmanteau of "Canoe" and "Whittler", it makes more sense to me to spell it with two "t"s instead of two "n"s. Apparently, that's not the way the Canal Street ad copy or label maker person feels, though

I agree, green is one of my favorite colors and I have plenty of green handled knives that stand out.
