In 1939 Joseph Gerber (advertising agency owner) had custom knife maker David Murphy make 24 sets of carving knife for some of his select customers. Catalog retailer Abercrombie & Fitch saw them and was so impressed with the quality of the knives they wanted to sell them. Thus was born Gerber Legendary Blades.
I was going through my Gerber Paul knives and I did not realize how many I have accumulated over the years. I really only carry the bottom two in my daily rotation. The question is ......Do I really love
Gerber knives or I am I just a hoarder?

I’ve got almost as many Lone Wolf Paul knives, so I guess we must be suffering the same disease. These Paul knives are some of my favorites, love that patented opening mechanism.
Wow! Great collection. I have one Lone Wolf Paul and I am very impressed by the fit and finish.
I have also picked up a few Kershaws because they have similar opening and closing principal like the Paul knives.
