Re: Knives in the Wild
I pulled back a tarp and found these fellers taking a nap... thought about the best way to set my pocketknife down near for the picture...
then I thought about how I hate emergency rooms....
....
So, I decided on a bit of a "safe-space" so to speak....

I've heard that they make good pets if you cut off their tails........right behind their ears. But they are kinda pretty.

T-dog, I have to admit I am not a fan of reptiles, especially those of the venomous kind. I admire your equanimity when confronting these creatures.
Re: Knives in the Wild
My pictures are never as good as you guys this is the first attempt at knives in the wild.
Glenbad rehandled this old Shapleigh for me so it has been posted in a couple of places. I think the flowers are called blue bells. I dug up ferns from my dad's sisters place before we sold it and the Flowers came along for the ride.
The old wood latter was my first father in-law that stayed with me I used to climb it when painting not sure how old that puppy it either.
Enjoy.
Do you think I'm Pleased, Absolutely.

Which venomous little snakes are those. I think that may have made me wet my pants and then I would have went crying to the house.

Re: Knives in the Wild
Scott, how many blades does that one have?
You're probably ready for any problem that may arise with that one.

Re: Knives in the Wild
Brought a late model Imperial Camp knife with a Florida Christmas Tree lanyard, an Imperial soddy and a Mora out on a hike with my boys. We got pretty close to two deer and spooked up a handful of turkeys. Snacked upon some fine local sausage. Good day all around

That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.
