CarMan wrote: Mon Apr 14, 2025 10:07 pm Well, I have a love affair with the Signal Corps, Electrician & TL-29 knives in ANY condition.

Top- Ulster with great snap on both blades & obviously the blade itself had snap.

Middle- Signal Corps. When I got it I thought the blade was broken off, but it is completely gone. I’m hoping to figure out who it’s made by & maybe find a donor knife & someone who can change the blade, cause it’s really in pretty good shape. And, it’s my first Signal Corps knife, been looking a long time for one.

Bottom- Challenge Cutlery. Actually in good condition except for front scale, which at some point I hope to find someone who can repair or replace it.

And, yes I know I am a terrible photographer. I am photographically challenged.
Let me check, I may have a Signal Corps knife for parts.

Found it, it is an Ulster and the screwdriver blade has the tang broken off. The spear blade is good though, maybe you can use it?

That would be great. Messaging you
This Ulster screwdriver blade was a lock blade that was released by pushing down on the spear blade. This probably led to its undoing by someone who did not know how to unlock the screwdriver blade and tried to force it and broke the tang off.

I bet that broke their heart. I think I sent you a private message about this. I would be very interested in this. Thank you

Just wanted to report that CarMan and I were able to work a trade of the items shown above. Carman got the Signal Corps knife parts he needed to repair his, and I thought I was going to get a couple of rebuilders or parts knives. However when I received the box it contained 5 knives, any of which could have been dropped into ones pocket and used immediately. From top, Imperial jack, all metal pen with crossed arrows tang stamp, Kutmaster shadow jack, Case 62033 SS mini pen knife, and a beer knife advertiser that has no tang stamp. No cash was exchanged as per my request and the only expenditure for either of is was for postage.
Thanks CarMan.

Thank you friend. And, I got 2 awesome pens to boot. Although I have noticed my wife eyeballing my pens.
The pictures do them no justice, the orange & black one is shiny as can be.

I’m wondering how long my granddaughter will let me keep the orange & black one.
