Black Diamond Cutlery Co - Any Info?

Post by knifeaholic »

This is a four-blade pearl handled penknife - each blade is marked BLACK DIAMOND CUTLERY CO. Has anyone ever seen this brand, or have any info on it?

I have a Black Diamond 10" chef's knife. Its modern. Not at all similar to what you have posted. It's either a revival of an old name or the company has been around a long while. It's a well built chef's knife, full tang, triple pinned but I can't see a country of origin on it.

That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend. ::tu::

I believe the Black Diamond Cutlery Company was a US/New York manufacturer and import company.

Here's a straight razor stamped "Black Diamond Cutlery Co, New York". I also found a pair of Black Diamond Cutlery Co scissors made in Germany.
