linemans' knives
there seem to be a lot of brands of lineman's knives, TL-29s. Are worth anything

All knives are worth at least their utility value. I consider the older lineman's knives with wooden handles to be nice collectibles. Some of the harder to find makes can bring good prices.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
