Help with identifying tang stamp
I am a novice and recently bought several old pocket knives and have been able to identify most of them. This one has me stumped though and I was wondering if any of the members here could help identify the maker and age. Thanks

Re: Help with identifying tang stamp
I agree - Voos. According to Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings Voos USA stamp was used 1919-1981. It was a trademark used by New Haven Hardware Company, which was a hardware distributor. Sorry I can’t tell you anything about its age other than that as I’m not aware that they changed their stamp any during that time. Someone else here may know.
Nice find! Must have been a fairly popular Voos pattern as there are several like it here viewtopic.php?p=663035&hilit=Voos#p663035

Thank you both for the help. Looks like it’s a barehead jack knife by VOOS now that I knew what to research
