Abrasive belts stoarage

Post by Ozwelder »

Hi guys
what do you do for belt storage.

The darn things never seem to last long. Even worse I have been slapped by a broken belt and crikey, it hurts. I live in a high humidity area in the tropics, so hanging belts on the wall is out.

Any advice you may have for me will be gratefully received.

Thanks

I store mine in 1 gallon and 2 gallon ziplock bags with some desiccant packets in with the belts. I have a lot of bags that are sorted by type, grit, backing, etc. They have lasted me for years in storage.
