Another pair of Jacks

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Another pair of Jacks

Post by Buck Casey »

I love these Jacks. The 1974 6231 1/2 derlin had been sharpend before but I was able to get a good bevel and edge. It is going to be in my pocket for a while.
The 1979 6235 1/2 also cleaned up well.
It took me a long minute before I noticed the 6235 1/2 did not have a a shield??
Is that something common?
