Great piece M&M! I love the SS spear-point blade .... I'm not familiar with Heinnie Haynes, but that looks like a very nice high-quality knife you have there "in-hand"

Many thanks, Dog, I discovered H/H from an online link from one of their customers, www.heinnie.com , and right away thought these are very well made knives. I have a couple more models I'll get posted that are of equal quality. I assume Real Steel is the manufacturer, and H/H are a customer of theirs who sells knives. It doesn't look it, but it weights a hefty 75g. so you feel it when holding.

Its the international crossing bridge in Sault Ste Marie. I was on the Soo Locks boat tour. When I got on the boat they made me pinky promise I wasn't carrying a knife over 3 inches, I guess that's not allowed in Canadian waters. On the American government controlled part they said no weapons. Good thing I have a sharp three inch tool in my pocket to make everyone happy.

I temporarily have possession of my father's knife, a Western L66 he got when he was 12, and a knife my grampa made, the big ugly grey and green with copper. My brother is the current owner, but he gave them to me for some clean up work. I took the opportunity for a multi generation shot.
The boxed wildlife set belonged to my wife's grampa.
The Old Timer belonged to my grampa, my father's father. He is the one who made the fixed blade.
His father in law, my grandmother's father was the owner of the Colonial Jack. The yellow Colonial is my Sons. The ebony pen belonged to my wife's great grandfather. 5 generations from multiple branches of the tree. Makes me feel proud
