Recently, my visit to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the latest example to be added to my "South Of The Border" collection. This pocket knife "brand" is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. It is a PASTOR ALEMAN (German Shepherd), one blade, one blade/tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), one tang stamp, 3 7/8" closed (not including the bail), two springs, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "PASTOR (over) ALEMAN" With the profile of a German Shepherd's head, to the left. The main handle side has an embossed image of a deer's head. The other handle side also has the embossed image of a deer's head. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade/tool does have a WEAK half stop. The secondary blade/tool does have an OK opening snap. The secondary blade/tool does NOT have a closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did need a little bit of a cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Recently, my trip to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the latest example to be added to my "South Of The Border" collection. This pocket knife brand is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. This specific brand of pocket knife does NOT make an appearance too often. It is a PM ATLAS, one blade, one blade/tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), one blade/tool stamp, 3 7/8" closed (not including the bail), two springs, pocket knife. The blade/tool front stamp says, "P. M. ATLAS" This style of blade/tool stamp is only the second PM ATLAS blade/tool stamp, in THIS PARTICULAR STYLE, that I possess. My other five, PM ATLAS, blade/tool stamps are ALL the same style. The main handle side is white and has dominoes on it. The other handle side is black and has dominoes on it. Overall, this is is my seventh PM ATLAS pocket knife. My other six PM ATLAS pocket knives, have ALL been previously posted, under and throughout, this topic or thread. Four of the other six PM ATLAS pocket knives have horses on the handles. Two of the other six PM ATLAS pocket knives have dominoes on the handles. The following information regarding PM ATLAS was provided by Jason (jxr1197), in a previous post, under this topic or thread, back on Saturday, May 30, 2020. "PM Atlas (Productos Metalicos Atlas - or Atlas Metal Products) was a business in Monterrey MX that bought knives either from the Associated Spring version of Imperial Mexico or from Cuchilleria Monterrey, maybe both." The main blade does have a CRISP half stop. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The blade/tool does have a CRISP half stop. The blade/tool does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The blade/tool does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

The main blade front tang stamp says, "DOS CIERVOS (over) HECHO EN (over) MEXICO" The main handle side has images of dominoes. The other handle side also has images of dominoes. DOS CIERVOS translates into English as TWO DEER. HECHO EN MEXICO translates into English as MADE IN MEXICO. This is my third DOS CIERVOS pocket knife. My other two DOS CIERVOS pocket knives, BOTH with images of a deer's head on the handles, were previously posted by me, under this topic or thread. The main blade does have a CRISP half stop. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade/tool does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade/tool does NOT have an opening snap. The secondary blade/tool does NOT have a closing snap. The handles show some wear. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

This PM Atlas pocket knife is DEFINITELY NOT the nicest looking PM Atlas pocket knife that I've posted. This PM Atlas pocket knife does have a few issues. Both the main blade and the blade/tool look like they were sharpened on a curb. Both handle sides have cosmetic issues. One handle side has a piece missing, near the bail. The main blade does have an OK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The blade/tool does have an OK half stop. The blade/tool does have an OK opening snap. The blade/tool does NOT have a closing snap. This pocket knife is in POOR condition. This pocket knife did need cleaning. It is an IMPERIAL, HECHO EN MEXICO, two blades, one tang stamp, 2 3/4" closed (not including the bail), two long blade pulls, one spring, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "IMPERIAL (over) HECHO EN (over) MEXICO" Translated into English, HECHO EN MEXICO means MADE IN MEXICO. The main blade does have a SOFT half stop. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does have a SOFT half stop. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off.

The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The cap lifter or bottle opener with a screwdriver, opens and closes with no problems. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did require a little bit of cleaning.

The main blade front tang stamp says, "IMPERIAL (over) HECHO EN (over) MEXICO" The main handle side says, "BOWMAN PRODUCTS - CLEVELAND, OHIO" and has an image of an ARCHER with "Bowman" The other handle side says, "40 YEARS OF SOMETHING EXTRA - IN QUALITY AND SERVICE" My other, HECHO EN MEXICO "BOWMAN" pocket knife, was posted back on Saturday, June 13, 2020. A short discussion about "BOWMAN" followed. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The cap lifter or bottle opener with a screwdriver, and the can opener, open and close just fine. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This morning, my trip to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the most recent example to be added to my "South Of The Border" collection. This pocket knife brand is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. This particular brand of pocket knife does NOT appear that often. It is a PM ATLAS, one main blade, one secondary blade/tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), one secondary blade/tool stamp, 3 7/8" closed (not including the bail), two springs, pocket knife. The secondary blade/tool front stamp says, "P.M. ATLAS" Both of the handles or scales have some minor cosmetic issues. The main handle side has three images of horses on it. The other handle side also has the same three images of the horses on it. Overall, this is my eleventh PM ATLAS pocket knife. My other ten, PM ATLAS pocket knives, have ALL been previously posted, under and throughout, this topic or thread. The following details about PM ATLAS, were provided by and also posted by Jason (jxr1197), under this topic or thread, back on Saturday, May 30, 2020. "PM Atlas (Productos Metalicos Atlas - or Atlas Metal Products) was a business in Monterrey MX that bought knives either from the Associated Spring version of Imperial Mexico or from Cuchilleria Monterrey, maybe both." The main blade does have an OK half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade/tool does have a GOOD half stop. The secondary blade/tool does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade/tool does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in FAIR condition. This pocket knife required some cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

This Is NOT The Same DOS CIERVOS Pocket Knife That I Posted On Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Very recently, my visit to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the latest example to be added to my "South Of The Border" collection. This pocket knife brand is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. This specific brand of pocket knife does NOT make an appearance too often. It is a DOS CIERVOS, one main blade, one secondary blade/tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), one main blade tang stamp, 3 7/8" closed (not including the bail), two springs, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "DOS CIERVOS (over) HECHO EN (over) MEXICO" Translated into English, DOS CIERVOS means TWO DEER. Translated into English, HECHO EN MEXICO means MADE IN MEXICO. The main handle side has an image of a deer’s head. The other handle side also has an image of a deer’s head. Overall, this is my fifth DOS CIERVOS pocket knife. My other four DOS CIERVOS pocket knives, were ALL previously posted, under and throughout, this topic or thread. The main blade does have a GOOD half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade/tool does have a GOOD half stop. The secondary blade/tool does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade/tool does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

A couple of days ago, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. I did NOT know that this “South Of The Border" pocket knife was in the group or lot of pocket knives. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. Although it isn’t the prettiest example, it did get added to my “South Of The Border" collection. It is an IMPERIAL, two blades, one secondary blade tang stamp, 1 1/2" closed, a “long” main blade pull, two springs, pocket knife. The secondary blade front tang stamp says, "IMPERIAL (over) MEXICO" This pocket knife is missing the bail. A piece of a handle or scale is also missing. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade does NOT have an opening snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a closing snap. This pocket knife is in POOR condition. This pocket knife did need cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
