Some pics from camp a few weeks back , made a Kephart knife I wanted to test out

Great series of photos of your camping expedition, Paul. Both of those knives look very practical.

There are a lot of really nice outdoor photos on this page. I think my favorite is Ike's wheat thief.

We had some undocumented farm laborers with us early this morning. We downsized our garden this year because of our age and the undocumented helpers have totally destroyed most everything we planted. Here they were early this morning, there were 5, couldn't get them all in the picture together.

We'll try to get even this coming deer season.

Sorry to hear that, TF. We had the same thing happen to us a couple of years ago. We had just started to get a little produce out of it, and the deer and cotton tails came along and wiped it out. We haven't had one since. I was thinking of setting up some raised beds inside our fenced-in back yard at some point. Of course the rabbits can still get in the fence (Ruger has killed 2 this year - he's fast!). And the deer could jump the fence, but I don't think they would. We seem to have a bumper crop of cotton tails this year. The one below dug a little hole to cool off in.

I posted a video here recently of a bobcat catching a squirrel in my backyard. I went down to check the game camera's yesterday, and found these pics of a mama bobcat with her kittens. Pretty sure it's the same cat who caught the squirrel.

I showed your 3 bobcat family pictures to my wife the other day and of course the response was an, "Ah, how cute." Then I forgot to post a comment thanking you for sharing the neat pictures.

Nice beach pictures, Tom.
Some of the turtle nests along the Gulf that get the beach traffic like shown in your 1st picture are protected by stakes and safety tape to keep them safe. The videos of the baby turtles heading for the surf is always interesting to watch. I remember, probably 70-75 years ago being on Cocoa Beach with our family and my favorite uncle dug into a nest and got some turtle eggs to take home and eat. I remember he showed me the tracks where Momma Turtle had come out of the water and crawled almost to the high side of the beach and dug her nest. Not many people on the beach in those days. I also remember some folks (not our family) would eat seacows as we then called the Manatee. We've eaten some interesting things over the years but never a Manatee and I don't remember Unkie sharing his turtle eggs with me.

same here Phillip, I'll take some pictures of them along with the "turtle moms" that come out around sunset and babysit the turtle nests into the wee hours of the morning.

I posted a video here recently of a bobcat catching a squirrel in my backyard. I went down to check the game camera's yesterday, and found these pics of a mama bobcat with her kittens. Pretty sure it's the same cat who caught the squirrel.

Fellers yawl sure getting some more fine photos of the critters, around here it's the deer that cause the most damage to our gardens, I went to raised beds and big flower pots quite a while back. The dang tree rats will get a green tomater every now, but the bunnies seem to love to eat the wild clover in the yard, and I've got a bountiful supply for them.

Actually pretty odd, since we can almost be considered a suburb of Philly. Cherry Hill is a decent sized city.
