Little Valley Knife Show July 11 and 12!!

Post by Gunsil »

Just a reminder that the Little Valley, NY Knife show is only two weeks away on July 11 and 12!! This show is only in it's second year but last year the show was great and this year will almost have twice the exhibitors and dealers. The show is held at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds with plenty of parking. There will be food available inside and food trucks outside. The show will have knife vendors (mostly antique knives) and folks with fantastic collections on display but not for sale. As many know Little Valley is an historic village in the world of old knife companies and there will be tours of the old factory sites and places like WR Case's house. there will also be maps of these sites for those who wish to walk around town at their own pace to see these historic knife sites. For more info just Google "Little Valley Knife Show". I hope to see a bunch of you there! Oh yeaah, entrance fee is only a dollar, kids free!

Look forward to seeing you Steve! Only two days this year rather than the three last year, but more dealers and exhibitors, should be even better this year. Maybe you'll be able to check out the American Cutlery Museum in the nearby town of Cattaraugus this year too.

I will be there set up. I was in the back building last year, this year I believe I'm in the front one. I'm bringing my dad along with me this year to keep me company.

I'll be set up again this year with two tables. Last year's show was a fantastic start so my expectations are running high for this second-year show. Please stop and say hello.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it or not. I’d like to but I will be in Bradford the following weekend for the Case event. Then the week after that I need to be in Bradford again for a family event.

If I do show up, I’m not sure what I’ll be wearing. I don’t plan my outfits that far in advance.

I'm trying to put together a last minute trip. Had to delay a decision due to health issues. Does anyone know if there are still any tables available? I will try to make it either way, just need to plan on what all to bring.

Also if anyone can recommend a local hotel I would appreciate it.

Hi Steve, sadly Brad Lockwood told me all tables were sold out. One never knows if somebody cancels at the last minute though. A lot of guys are staying at the White Oak Inn in Salamanca, there aren't much accommodations in Little Valley. I hope to see you there!

I would recommend looking for a place to stay in Ellicottville or just stay at the Casino in Salamanca. If you want to stop by the Zippo/Case museum, stay in Bradford at the Holiday Inn express. It’s probably 30 minutes to little valley from Bradford.
