Doug, you get the ball a lot more perfectly round than I ever can. And to me the smaller the harder to do. Great work.
Thanks. I get lucky once in awhile.😁

Patriot hillbilly I carved on the 4th of July. Pictured with a new knife I bought on AAPK from Muskrat Man to add to my Old Timer, Uncle Henry collection. I didn't use this knife for the carving.

Nice carving, I like the paint, his hat reminds me of the red white and blue “Bomb-pop” popsicle.

Very good Doug. I like the bomb pop comparison.

A customer of my wife’s Deli is part owner of a broom and brush manufacturing company. My wife was going to be in the area with her sister and friend and he invited them to see the process(which she said was really neat). When the left he gave them all a broom and brush to take home, so I made a caricature carving of him as a gift. She’s going to surprise him with it next time he comes in to eat.

Looks great!👍
My latest carving a Santa in July. Carved with a Hammer brand pocket knife I bought for a couple bucks that I reshaped a broken blade tip on. Works great.
