It seems to be a Turkish garden knife? The beech handle should be quite pleasant to the touch))

I got it in a street market in Istanbul several years ago. It has overall nice fit and finish and It has a very nice feel to it, thanks!

I got this seax in a trade with a friend. He bought it in a smith's shop in Denmark. It's heavy, could chop some wood for sure. The wood on the handle is stunning. I tried to capture all the character but I've got mediocre lighting in my basement. I just keep it down here by me. In case I need to do some raiding and or pillaging.

ZTWKG, that is about as awesome as it gets!!!! I just scored a Cold Steel Viking axe in a pawn shop about an hour ago, ... I wish that Sax had been there too!

Zeus has become a big pain in the rear lately, so I have acquired a lower maintenance version of him that should be a lot easier to deal with on a day to day basis. And.... much easier to deal with than Zeus when taking knife pictures to post on AAPK....

This is the first effort at custom knifemaking, making it a CK. It is a 6 1/2" stock removal knife in mystery steel I picked up. A 55 file skates, and a 60 barely scratches. The handles are walnut from a tree Hurricane Helene brought down last year. Last step is to put an edge on it.
