Is that an L66? My father used one just like it.
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

Thank you .

Thank you .
I like the pattern a lot as a user. It’s basically a Stockman with a unique handle shape. No half stops as with most Stockmans. Many of the Queen and Schatt & Morgan Railsplitters have a Spey blade and 420HC but this model has a short fat Spear blade and D2 steel. I really like that blade.
There was a time when I had approximately 10 Railsplitters but I sold off every one except this one. Some of them had blade play and all of them including this one had mildly gritty action not cured by flushing and lubricating.
As with most Queens, none of them were very sharp from the factory but that’s not really a big deal.
I think if you got one you would like it if you don’t mind the slightly gritty action and the risk of getting one with blade play on one or more of the blades.
The one in my picture has about 12-14 months of pocket time but I just took it out of storage recently. It has been a fantastic user. I would be perfectly content if it was the only pocketknife I owned.
