The polyurethane just finished drying on this piece. It's a 13" of rustic round Basswood. My SIL is giving it to an old fellow in their church that teaches in FFA and has been involved with it since he was in high school. I hope he likes it.... ::fc::

That is a great piece, no matter how I try I never get those clean line like you do. Good job and I’m sure the man who receives it will love it.

Thank you, I actually have to take very fine sandpaper (2000 grit) and modify my wire burning tips in order to get the fine or broad burn that
I want. Most of the eagle and the owl were done with a tip the size of a small sewing needle.

Time to start getting ready for the holidays with my inventory.
The last one is part of a set of coasters I'm making for my granddaughter Grace. CRU, pronounced CREW is short for CRUSADER, the mascot for Grace's college, Mary Hardin-Baylor University in Belton, TX.

It's hard to get color to blend when you have a burn line in the way but I
think it came out nice anyway.
