Hello, I have a customer who made an offer and I accepted. The item still shows “sale pending” in the inventory. PayPal shows amount paid and an AAPK order number of #61749 on item number 93592. No order has come through on this on my dashboard either.
This is a problem I haven’t encountered before. I tried searching by the order number and nothing came up.
What to do?

Re: No order showing but order number and PayPal show sold
Hi Mark,
TL;DR: This has happened before with a few other sellers. The payment itself should be valid; just double-check that the funds show up in your PayPal account as expected. As long as the funds are there, you’re safe to ship the item. The transaction should also now be visible on your seller dashboard as well.
Longer explanation:
We’ve seen situations like this on rare occasions. They typically occur when AAPK doesn’t receive or process PayPal’s confirmation that a payment was completed. I’m still looking into the exact reason this particular confirmation didn’t come through.
On the AAPK side, we do have a few security measures that can cause this behavior. For example, if PayPal doesn’t return the expected data within a strict time window, our system will block the payload. That time limit helps protect the platform from automated or malicious attempts to send fake “successful payment” notices.
I’ll work on tweaking the process to prevent this completely, but the important thing for now is: if the funds are in your PayPal account, the payment is good.
Let me know if you have questions or if this happens again.
Best,
Bryan
