Ozark Trail Glacier "Bugout".
One of the few cheap knives I like, and I just picked up this gray version at Walmart a few days back as I had just noticed I wasn't carrying a knife. The old white issue was originally sold as right-hand only--both the current white ones and these new gray ones are tapped for LH carry, and of course, I swapped it being left-handed.
Previously, the only cheap AXIS that was decent was Milwaukee's--but it was heavy.
For a little over $20, you can buy 3 (or about 15 for the cost of a Benchmade...) as insurance against losing them. I didn't do it this time, as I had enough spares of the white one from last year's Christmas shopping.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
We should have a sub-forum dedicated to knives that we bought dirt cheap, or like the little bird sings, cheep cheep cheep. After Christmas a few years ago the local Walmart put their Christmas special knife blister packs out on a Christmas special close out table half off. They included Case 3254 SS yellow delrin Trappers for $17! Like Halloween candy the frugal shopper waits until after the holiday.
I forget the years but Case marketed left hand 6254 SS Trappers. Imagine a standard Trappper with its shield and both nail nicks on its pile side. Thats they were. Maybe Case was using up blades left over from the 54 Trappers they made with five long blades in the 2000 - 2009 decade? If I was left handed I'd hunt down a left handed Case Trapper.
